WHY???

So this has been weighing on my mind for quite awhile now. And now that I have a blog I can vent. Why is it that people are so dang fake?? NIce to yours, and everyones face, but as soon and you and others are not  around you are the topic of conversations. I have a friend that is so dang bad at this and it makes me so mad. Everybody loves this person thinking that they are so bubbly and fun to be around, and so nice to everyone. But little do they know they are always being talked about when they are not around. It puts you in a hard spot, when one of your friends thinks this person is their best friend, but little do they know they are always being bashed. I have come to know if someone is always bashing people they call their friends, you know that they are talking trash about you. What is it. Why are people so bad at this. Not to say that I have never done this, but it is awful. I think a lot of it must have to do with being jealous. Why is it that people (girls mostly), are so jealous. I look at my Husband who is such a example to me. He is the most non judgemental, hard working and non Jealous person, I know.. He is 100% with NOT keeping up with the Jones. He would be content with living in a shack and driving a beater car. And always seems to find the good in everyone. So the question is what do you do, just keep your mouth shut to your friend, or do you say something??

So I have to admit that I have really enjoyed myself here in Winnipeg. Yep I said it. (just don't tell Lane).  We have kept ourselves pretty busy, and I love the girls here! I am kind of sad that  I only have one week left, but I am also glad to being going home to work on my house and yard.

          Our fav place to hang out. It is the most beautiful park, and we have spent lots of time here.
   Last sunday we went and spent the day there. I love sundays, and having the whole day with Lane.

                     They have the most amazing flower gardens. Logan just wanted to pick them all.

Winnipeg!!!

So last wednesday we were heading to calgary to take logan to her doctors appointment, when lane called. He was sick of being alone with no family, and missed his girls. I have been avoiding coming out because, well winnipeg didn't seem too appealing to me. Yes I missed lane but he is gone most of the day working so that means lots of time to fill and  find things to do. So we don't go crazy in a small apartment. But because I am the good wife I am I packed up the kids, and we left the nesx day to winnipeg. I was sad, because the weather was finally good enough to be working out in my yard.  I had just put one coat of stain on my deck, and had started to work in my flower beds. But I guess that can all be done when I get back. Lanes mom said she would drive out with me, and let me tell you I couldn't have done it without her. That was the longest, most boring drive I have ever done in my life. But at around 1:30am we finally made it. And Jaycee, and Logan were so happy to see their dad after 3 long weeks

There is a park a couple blocks away from our apartments, So last night we walked down with Jordan, Lise-anne, spencer, and the kids.  It was such a nice night and the kids had a blast. I am so glad to have nice weather again.





Today we headed out to the Zoo. It was not too bad, and the girls loved it. Other then it was super hot, and they herded us out with people on bikes fifteen minutes before the zoo closed.

So a couple of weeks ago my nana went into the hospital. She was having really bad pain, and we soon found out she had liver cancer. We were told it would probably not be too long. So we phoned all of my family from the states, and they headed up. It was a hard knowing that my dear grandmothers life was coming to end, but it was also so good to have all of my cousins and aunts and uncles together. They are such awesome people. It was also neat because we have never all been together at the same time.

  Jaycee was in heaven playing with her two new best friends, Julia, and sydney.

I started to stay at the hospital on Thursday, and didn't come home till monday.

So if you are wondering why I look so bad, and tired it is because I got about

three hours of sleep each of those nights. I am still trying to get back to normal.

This was the night before she died. We gave her a mini mani, and did her hair.

She was such a amazing lady, so prim and proper and always done to the T.
